First, let your eyes adjust to, what might be, the darkest bar … ever. Once you can see again, you’ll find bookcases full of books, fireplaces, garage sale couches and a great jukebox. The crowd is college kids, regulars and neighbors. It’s a laid-back environment where I like to take out-of-town visitors. It’s easy to forget what a gem this place is. This burger is blackened and topped with bleu cheese, mushrooms and onions. If you’re not up for the dim bar feel, it has a nice patio out back.
