Hartfield & Co. distills to incredibly low proof, around just 55-60 percent alcohol by volume, then matures in micro barrels at just 5.8 gallons. This produces a rich, full-flavored bourbon in only three and a half months.
Hatfield & Co. (formerly The Gentleman Distillery) offers two different types of tours – a more casual “City Tour,” which takes place on weekdays and includes a quick 10-15 minute tour of the facilities, a light overview of their process and a tasting of a few spirits. The “County Tour” takes place on Saturdays at 4 and 6 p.m., lasts one hour and includes an in-depth look at their process, a tour of the facilities and a tasting of our spirits. (The County Tour is reservation only with a limit of eight people per tour.) All tours are free of charge.
