With the recent proliferation of hot chicken in the city, Indi’s still deserves lots of love in the soul-food, spicy chicken world. The restaurant’s neon “NOW FRYING” sign beckons me each and every time I drive by its North Broadway location. Carry-out and drive-through only, and not remotely vegan friendly, this place serves the north side well. The dinner box includes three pieces of chicken, or four wings, two side orders and a roll. At least one of those side orders should be a (potato) wedge, and when asked you “spicy or mild?” the answer should always be “spicy.”
