In March 2019, three childhood friends — Chase Fairchild, Sam Duff, and Maddie Duff — opened Manchester Coffee Co., the Distillery District’s first craft coffee shop, located at 903 Manchester St.
Branded with a simple skull and lighting bolt, the interior of the shop features modern, stylish decor and has comfortable, soft seating for when you need to unplug, as well as tables and chairs for when you need to get some work done.
The shop’s coffee is made using beans from Red Rooster Coffee in Floyd, Virginia. Although beans are currently roasted off-site, owners hope to roast them in-house one day.
The menu also features an assortment of teas, rotating beverages and pastries courtesy of Sunrise Bakery on Main Street.
The shop is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and offers plenty of free parking.
