I’ve been eating here for more years than I care to count. This tiny Cuban restaurant hides in a dumpy strip-center on Malibu Drive and serves, what I consider to be, as good of a Cuban sandwich as you can get just about anywhere. Made of homemade Cuban bread, ham, house-roasted pork, cheese, mustard, pickles and butter, the sandwich is perfect in its simplicity. Skip the fries and order a cheese empanada instead, and you’re still under 10 bucks. (For an extra buck, try the slightly more complex, and equally excellent, tripleta.)
