Located on Georgetown Road about 10 minutes outside downtown Lexington, Rose & Jim’s is a time capsule. When you walk in the door, you are transported to the quintessential dive bar of the ’70s, with prices to match. Pool tables, rope lights, neon beer signs and solid burgers are the order of the day. Don’t let the roadhouse-esque exterior scare you off, this is a friendly place where regulars and newbies are all welcome. Bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted. (Don’t worry, there’s an ATM.)
