Lexington finally has a proper gelateria. Formerly located on North Lime across from Sayre School, sisters Alma Kajtazovic and Selma Sulejmanagic create their magic in a bright and spacious space on the corner of Jefferson and Short streets. The gelato is made daily, from scratch, one pan at a time, with the goal of selling it by the end of the day. Flavors range from traditional Italian flavors like Nutella and pistachio to local favorites bourbon ball and cookies-and-cream. With the flight, you are able to sample your choice of six gelato or sorbeto options. They also carry Italian soda and make great espresso and cappuccino.
