As a send off to the Bourbon Barrel Project on Town Branch, a public art initiative celebrating the history of bourbon and the historic long-buried stream, LexArts and Alltech's Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company will be hosting a closing celebration and barrel auction at 5 p.m. Nov. 16 at Buster's on Manchester St.
The project put 41 bourbon barrels, all decorated by local artists throughout downtown Lexington over the past two months; thirty-four barrels will be put on the auction block at the event.
