Experimental Canadian collective Godspeed You! Black Emperor has been creating epic, sweeping soundscapes since the mid-1990s. Often looped in with the "post rock" genre, their music often transcends classification, with sweeping compositions that bear elements of many genres and that often spanning more than 15 minutes in length.
