LEXINGTON, KY - As reported previously in the Weekly Wire and the April 2, issue of , the month of April has more than a few events in addition to our traditional spring lineup of thoroughbreds and blossoming, pollen laden trees.
One concentrated group of events highlights Lexington's growing high tech and entrepreneurial community. These events have been organized by group called In2Lex. More information is available online at http://www.in2lex.com.

Gallery Hop/Fifth Third Pavilion Grand Opening | April 16
On top of the usual Gallery Hop events - including the opening in the Mayor's Office of the Fourth Annual Lexington Art League's Side by Side project teaming 12 professional artists with 12 young special needs artists - Lexington will also be inaugurating its newest downtown feature: The Fifth Third Pavilion.
Scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday is the official ribbon cutting for the Fifth Third Pavilion, so named after the bank donated $750,000 to the city through the Downtown Lexington Corporation Foundation to construct the metal and glass structure at Cheapside Park that will house the Lexington Farmers Market, Thursday Night Live and a bevy of other events alongside the old Courthouse. The Big Maracas will play into the evening and food and beer will be available for purchase.
