LEXINGTON, KY - As reported in the previous Weekly Wire and the April 2, issue of , the month of April has more than a few added events to our normal spring lineup of thoroughbreds and blossoming trees.
One concentrated group of events is aimed largely at highlighting Lexington's growing high tech and entrepreneurial community through a group called In2Lex, at http://www.in2lex.com.

Kicking off Wednesday night with a keynote address by Richard Florida, the internationally renown author of and who identified that young creatives are choosing "place" over a job.
The event, which continues through midday Friday, is aimed at helping Lexington and the cities of other attendees become more desirable to innovators and entrepreneurs by exploring new approaches to economic development and smart growth, becoming more pedestrian and bike friendly, elevating the stature and value of the arts, looking at the role of media in influencing a community's narrative about itself, and by learning about projects happening here in Lexington and other cities.
