Hoofbeats & Heartbeats: The Horse in American Art. Through Nov. 21. A ground-breaking exhibition of paintings and sculpture on loan from some of America's most prestigious museums.
Mid-Century Modern from the Huntington Museum. Jan. 3 - March 20, 2011. This exhibit highlights Huntington's permanent collection in a variety of media in order to shed light on an art style that is often misleading in its apparent simplicity.
Japanese Embroidery. April 10 - July 3, 2011. Approximately 50 works of traditional Japanese embroidery created by contemporary artists, including designs on kimonos, scrolls and samplers.
The Veil: Visible and Invisible Space. July 31 - Oct. 10, 2011. Thirty-six works of art, which consider the veil with its many manifestations and interpretations and put veils and veiling into context.
