New hires/promotions
Lexington-based Forcht Bank has named Bill Walters as its market president for Madison County. Walters previously served as president and CEO of Madison Bank. His initial focus will be to oversee the construction of Forcht Bank's first Madison County banking center at the main entranceway into Richmond Centre off Barnes Mill Road (KY 876).
Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC has announced that Amy B. Berge, a member in the firm's Louisville office, has been named chair of the firm's Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group. Berge also serves as
chair of the firm's Privacy Team.
Camden Skidmore has joined Fifth Third Bank Central Kentucky as business development officer. Mike Ash, senior vice president, has joined Fifth Third Bank as the senior commercial banker. Ash previously worked with Fifth Third in Central Indiana (Indianapolis), most recently as head of business banking.
Preston-Osborne has announced the promotion of Katelyn Rademacher to executive account assistant. Rademacher previously held the position of administrative account assistant. Deborah Crowdus has joined the marketing communications and research company as administrative account assistant.
LexTran has named Jill Barnett as director of community affairs. Barnett previously served as LexTran's community outreach coordinator. LexTran has also named Keith Srutowski as director of purchasing. He most recently served as purchasing assistant.
Board announcements
Glen Bagby, a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl's Lexington office, has been appointed Regent of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). His primary responsibilities include working with fellow members to improve and reform probate, trust, and tax laws and procedures. The Board of Regents is ACTEC's governing body and has approximately 40 members.
Professional certifications
Lea Nugent, owner of Caring Transitions of Lexington, a company that specializes in senior downsizing and transitioning, was recently awarded with the designation of Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS) certification. With this certification, Lea is trained to provide specialized services to assist those over the age of 55, along with their families and caregivers, through the entire moving process.
New offices/relocations
Paladin, Inc., a Lexington-based commissioning and engineering firm, has moved its offices to 143 Walton Avenue in Lexington.
Atkinson, Simms and Kermode, PLLC, a bankruptcy law firm, has announced the addition of a second location in the Northern Kentucky/ Greater Cincinnati area. The new office is located in Covington, Ky., and offers the same services as the Lexington-based location, including personal bankruptcy litigation and filing for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
