New hires and promotions
The International Spa Association has announced the addition of four new staff members at its Lexington headquarters. Kate Cottingham has joined the association as senior account executive. Davis Federspiel has been named as project coordinator. Kerri Keefer is the association's new communications manager, and Danny Kelly has been hired as creative development manager.
Marcus Miller has been promoted to personal banker for Republic Bank's Harrodsburg Road Banking Center.
Messer Construction Co. has announced the promotion of Mark Richardson to project manager.
Chris Robinson has joined the staff of the Micah Group, LLC as program manager for building health & optimization - industrial hygiene. A. Gilliam Alexander, Jr. has joined the staff of Micah Group Energy & Environmental as program manager of environmental services.

Carey Croucher, NCIDQ, LEED-AP, designer with Interspace Limited llc, was selected as a merit award winner in a gas fireplace design competition promoted by Spark Modern Fires for the interior space for Hayden's Grill & Bar in Saginaw, Michigan.
Mac Crawford, owner of Crawford Builders, Inc., has been selected by Remodeling magazine to join the Remodeling Big50, which honors the owners of 50 remodeling companies that have set exceptionally high standards for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship and impact in their community or the industry at large.

Video Editing Services, a member of the Media Collaboratory, has been honored as the winner of two Summit International Awards. The winning entries included "Crisis at Hope School," a training video made for Eastern Kentucky University's Justice and Safety Center and the Department of Homeland Security and "Lextreks: Kentucky River Otter Outpost," made for the Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau.
