Joseph-Beth Booksellers announced today that its Lexington flagship store in the Mall at Lexington Green will be remodeled.
“We’re excited to provide an improved shopping experience for our community. We’re acting on many of the suggestions and ideas from our customer surveys over the last year to expand our offerings based on customer preferences,” said Joseph-Beth CEO, Mark Wilson. “Construction begins immediately and has been planned to minimize any customer inconvenience. In fact, we invite customers to come in and watch the transformation. Over the next few months we’ll be making improvements to our children’s area, along with welcoming Baby Bundles to our lakeside level. This will provide our customers with a greater breadth of children’s offerings. We are also remodeling our full service restaurant Brontë Bistro, adding a new coffee bar at the front of the store, and building vignettes that will better represent our books and products.”
Joseph-Beth will continue to remain open throughout the renovation with customers able to see the changes happen right before their eyes. Construction will be completed in the next several months.
The renovations include:
• A wider selection of books, gifts, games and toys
• More local products to support our community
• Lakeside level dedicated to babies, children and young adults
• Baby Bundles is coming to Joseph-Beth!
• Bigger & better kids department with larger play & creativity areas
• Avant Travel is moving upstairs for easier access
• New Coffee Bar at the front of the store for customer convenience
• Brontë Bistro remodel with gorgeous lake-view seating
• Expanded Cooking & Kitchen section for the home
• Expanded Religion & Spirituality section
Mark Wilson stated, “Because we’re part of the fabric of the Lexington community, and because we believe in a strong local presence, we’re expanding our selection of local products from area companies, artisans and craftspeople.”
