Lexington, KY - The city’s Division of Planning wants your input for the 2012 Comprehensive Plan Update
According to the Division’s website, several strategies are being considered that will enable Lexington to grow without disturbing its existing farmland. The strategies include: broadening options for infill and redevelopment; protecting existing neighborhoods and designing exceptional new ones; identifying areas that need specialized planning.
Staff from the LFUCG Division of Planning will lead two public input meetings with identical formats:
Tuesday, August 14, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Tates Creek Golf Course Ballroom. This is located next to the Tates Creek Aquatic Center (pool) at 1400 Gainesway Drive
Wednesday, August 15, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Northside Branch Lexington Public Library,1733 Russell Cave Road.
Planning staff will be on hand to answer questions about the strategies for the 2012 Comprehensive Plan update. Comments will be collected and issues and concerns will be reported to the Planning Commission.
