Lexington, KY - Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLP will merge with the Memphis-based law firm Williams McDaniel, P.C., it was announced today.
The nine Williams McDaniel attorneys will join forces with Wyatt to form one of the largest estate planning law groups among the nation’s regional firms.
“This merger is an excellent fit for both firms,” said Bill Hollander, Wyatt’s Managing Partner. “The addition of these highly talented lawyers contributes to Wyatt’s growing national reputation in estate planning, charitable giving, foundations, special needs counseling, elder law and sophisticated tax planning.”
The merger brings to 27 the number of estate planning attorneys with Wyatt. Six of Wyatt’s estate planning attorneys are certified as Estate Planning Specialists. In addition, six of the lawyers in Wyatt’s group are fellows of the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, including A. Stephen McDaniel, who has been honored as one of the nation’s top 100 estate planning attorneys by Worth Magazine.

We have a large number of high net worth clients who own and operate closely-held businesses, where their business affairs are often intertwined with their personal financial planning,” McDaniel said.
