<p>Cathryn Gibson has joined LM Communications Broadcasting Group as Vice President of Public Relations & Business Development. LM Communications Radio is Lexington’s only locally owned radio group. Gibson joins LM Communication from Blue Grass Energy, where she was vice president of marketing, communication and economic development. Prior to joining Blue Grass Energy in 2006, she was association marketing project manager for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Arlington, VA, and manager of corporate communication for PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, Andalusia, AL. She brings 25 years of marketing development, public relations, media relations and advertising experience from the electric utility industry to LM Communication. She is a member of numerous professional organizations and she has been published in several professional energy industry trade publications. She is an advocate for breast cancer research and is on the board of directors for the Lexington Affiliate of Susan G.
