Richmond, Ky. - Saint Joseph Health System, a part of KentuckyOne Health, has acquired Richmond Open MRI, a free-standing imaging center in Richmond, which began operation as Saint Joseph Outpatient Care Center today. The center is located off of the Eastern By-Pass on Alycia Drive.
The Saint Joseph Outpatient Care Center will provide the same level of services as the former Richmond Open MRI, including: open MRI, CT, PET, general X-Ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and bone density. It includes surface level parking and ground level access to patients.
Dr. Timothy Dineen, a board certificated radiologist with the former Richmond Open MRI, will join Saint Joseph Outpatient Care Center as the onsite radiologist.

Within the past 12 months KentuckyOne has aligned with primary care and specialty physicians in the Richmond community including:

· Dr. Anil Harrison – Family Practice
· Dr. Tony Smith – OB/GYN
These primary care, cardiovascular and specialty clinic offices are located nearby and will provide convenient access to diagnostic imaging services and coordinated care for patients in the Richmond area.
Saint Joseph Outpatient Care Center will remain an independent testing facility and there will be no changes in the cost of services to patients or payors.
KentuckyOne historically has had a limited presence in the Richmond market, despite having healthcare services south of the city in Berea and north of the city in Lexington.
