Describe a perfect weekend for you.
Old friends. Bourbon. No phones.
What is a favorite childhood memory?
I remember weeping with joy when UK won the national championship in 1996. I’m talking about basketball, obviously.
If you were just elected president, what would your first priority be?
I care about what other people think of me too much to ever accomplish anything as a president. I guess I’d spend a lot of time worrying about healthcare and education.
What’s a food you can’t live without?
Cheese. Luckily, I live just around the corner from Wine + Market.
What is something about you that might surprise your friends?
I shot a deer on a hunting trip with my Dad when I was in high school. No one ever believes me, but I have antlers to prove it.
What’s on your iPod right now?
Azealia Banks, some of Matt Duncan’s new stuff, Nemo Achida, Beach House, the Oxford American’s new Louisiana music compilation, and a few songs by Two Ace (a South Korean band from the 1970s Coleman Guyon discovered when he was making a promo video for the pop-up sandwich shop we had at Institute 193 a few weeks ago).
