Lexington, KY – First Watch, a chain of brunch restaurants, has opened its second Lexington location.
The new location in a freestanding building at 1080 South Broadway opened Monday, less than a year after First Watch’s initial foray into Lexington with a restaurant located near the Man O’ War and Richmond Road intersection.
According to a release from the Bradenton, Florida-based chain, the new location in a former Atlanta Bread Company store employs approximately 25 people. It is the second restaurant operated by the Holland Rosen Group, LLC and part of a multi-unit franchise agreement to open up to eight restaurants throughout Lexington and Louisville over the next five years. The 3071 Richmond Road location opened in September 2012.
Gary Holland of Holland Rosen Group stated in a release the South Broadway location was picked because of its proximity to the University of Kentucky and downtown.
First Watch’s menu features pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, as well as brand-specific items. The restaurant serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
