Lexington, KY – Two restaurants that announced their plans to locate in Lexington in late 2013 have opened their doors.
Noodles and Company on Nicholasville Rd. celebrated its grand opening on Super Bowl Sunday and Wild Eggs in the Palomar Centre opened its doors last week.
Turn out in the first few weeks of operation at Noodles and Company have prompted owner Chad Colony to bring in more staff. “I have hired an additional 20 people and now am proud to report that we have created over 50 jobs in Lexington thanks to the support of the community,” he said in an email.

Louisville-based Wild Eggs has been serving breakfast and lunch options since Monday, Feb. 17.
“Having searched the restaurant industry for growth opportunities the past two years, Traxx is thrilled to bring Wild Eggs to our home city,” said Jay Hall, president of Traxx Companies, the Lexington franchisee of Wild Eggs. “Wild Eggs has a lot to offer.”
