Rumpke
Lexington, KY – Long time central Kentucky banker and former Lexington Finance and Administration Commissioner Linda Rumpke has joined Traditional Bank as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.
Rumpke, who most recently served as president and CEO of Bardstown-based Town & Country Bank and Trust Company – leading the bank out of an FDIC Consent Order issued prior to her appointment – has been in banking for 30 years, 23 of which at what’s currently Chase.
Rumpke left Chase while serving as the Lexington market president to become a commissioner under Mayor Jim Newberry in 2009 and served through the end of his time in office at the start of 2011.
“Our bank is thrilled to have someone with Linda’s proven talents join our team,” Traditional Bank’s President Bill Alverson said in a release about Rumpke who serves on Kentucky Agriculture Finance Corporation, a governor appointed position, as well as on the Leadership Kentucky board, the board of the Prichard Committee and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Foundation board, where she serves as secretary.
Rumpke graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She has also been awarded professional degrees from the Cannon Financial Institute, the American Bankers Association, the US Savings League and Southern Methodist University.
Traditional Bank is a community bank with 12 locations in Fayette, Montgomery, Bourbon, Clark and Menifee counties and has approximately $1.1 billion in assets.
