Lexington, KY - A few months ago I read Christopher Kimball's book "Fannie's Last Supper," which chronicled his re-creation of one of Fannie Farmer's most famous meals --
a 12-course Christmas dinner. I was fascinated by Kimball's research and, in particular, his exploration into the history of holiday punch.
The history of punch? I hadn't considered the notion. Since then, my interest in holiday hooch has perked up, and I have gathered a list of some old favorites and new adventurous drinks to serve this holiday season.
