Mission: Central Kentucky Riding for Hope is dedicated to enriching the community by improving the quality of life and the health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities using the horse.

Kentucky Equine Humane Center
Description: A humane alternative to the problem of Kentucky's unwanted horses, and the first and only shelter of its kind in the United States.
Mission: To provide humane treatment and shelter while working as a clearinghouse to seek adoptive homes for all of Kentucky's unwanted equines, regardless of breed; to educate the public and raise awareness for responsible equine ownership so that fewer horses end up in crisis; and, work with and serve as a model for organizations with the same mission in other states, to save America's equines inhumane treatment.

Lexington Humane Society
Description: LHS is the largest open door shelter in Central Kentucky and adopted nearly 5,000 companion animals into loving homes this past year alone. We are a non-profit organization completely reliant upon private donations and community support. We work to provide "forever" homes for the animals in our care; educate the community on responsible pet care and the compassionate treatment of all animals; and spay/neuter the pets of qualifying animals at a low-cost.

Maker's Mark Secretariat Center
Mission: Heralding the value of the off-the-track Thoroughbred race horse. Our goal is to take off-the-track race horses from a variety of sources and to teach them, in 30 to 90 days from their arrival at the MMSC, the foundational knowledge for different equestrian disciplines so that they become attractive prospects for adoption.

Primate Rescue Center, Inc.
Mission: To alleviate the suffering of primates wherever it occurs by providing sanctuary or referral to appropriate facilities; working to end the trade in primates both in the United States and abroad; educating the public to the plight of primates caught in the breeder/dealer cycle; assisting researchers and zoo personnel in finding appropriate placement for surplus primates; and encouraging compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws and animal welfare statutes.

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge and Educational Facility, Inc.
Mission: Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge and Educational Facility, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 NO KILL facility which began its lifesaving efforts in 1993. The facility, located in Nicholasville, KY Wolf Run was enacted to help innocent animals find a world that was safe, free from abuse and a permanent sanctuary for those that could not be released back into the wild. Wolf Run has grown into a state and USDA licensed educational facility that houses Kentucky native wildlife as well as African lions to South American cougars, from wolves and coyotes to our native whitetail deer. We work to offer each of them an existence that closely mimics their natural habitats.
