Now involved in a partnership with LexArts, the new MoonDance at Midnight Pass amphitheater in the Beaumont Circle is rolling out its first summer of programming flush with music, film and community events.
The Summer Concert Series at MoonDance will offer something for all ages, including international acts along with home-grown talent. Gates for each performance will open at 7 p.m.
Select Thursday nights will see Movies at MoonDance. One theme will be explored each month over the course of three films. Show times will be at sunset and gates will open at 7 p.m.
More events will be scheduled throughout the summer, so be sure to check the venue's website for updates. MoonDance is currently seeking volunteers to help at all events. Interested community members should contact general manager Joe Cannon Artz at jartz@lexarts.org or by calling (859) 225-0370.

Gates open at 7 p.m. Concerts begin around 8 p.m. Tickets for all four concerts are now on sale - $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Kids under 12 are free.
