Lexington, KY - Representatives from Palmer Engineering and M2D landscaping architecture held the second of two public information meetings concerning the proposed redesign of the Euclid Avenue and High Street intersection on Sept. 2.
During the meeting representatives presented a "preferred" design plan based on community input after an initial three design plans were unveiled in August.
The preferred plan includes a green median on Euclid Avenue between High Street and Ashland Avenue, back-in parking on High Street in front of Chevy Plaza, many "pocket" parks along High Street, and a few intersection alterations.
