The owners of Goodfellas Pizzeria, a popular downtown pizza shop, will be opening a "New York City themed bodega," next to their small eatery.
Called the "Mill Street Mini Mart," owners Alex Coats and Eric Boggs said the store will offer beverages, cigarettes, and other convenient store items to "accommodate Lexington's business commuters and downtown residents."
The Mini Mart's special feature, they said, will be the "Mill Street Mojo," a gourmet cup of coffee made with 100 percent Arabica beans.
The grand opening for Mill Street Mini Mart is March 15. It will also be open during the city's annual St. Patrick's Day festival on March 16. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Mon. - Sat.
