Dawg Yawp
The first show of our new monthly concert series, “Moonshiner’s Presents”, features Cincinnati’s Dawg Yawp, one of the surprise stars of this year’s Moonshiner’s Ball. Sometimes foot-stomping traditional, sometimes far-out and tripping pschedelic, Dawg Yawp’s range of sounds seems to parallel that of the festival itself. This is a band on the fast rise, with an exciting new album set to drop later this summer, cuts from which have already caught the ear of music critics from NPR and Consequence of Sound.
