A Literary Luncheon with Wendell Berry
The Carnegie Center’s 2016 books-in-progress conference will feature a special ticketed luncheon featuring literary legend and Kentucky’s most prolific writer Wendell Berry, recipient of The National Humanities Medal and author of scores of fiction, nonfiction and poetry books, including Nathan Coulter (1960), Standing on Earth (1991), The Mad Farmer Poems (2008) and most recently, Our Only World: Ten Essays (2015). Last year, he was the first living writer to be inducted into the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame.
The event will include a locally-sourced farm to table meal in a tent on the idyllic Gratz Park lawn.
