Local independent publishing house Accents Publishing is turning 10, and celebrating years of publishing poetry and supporting creativity in Kentucky and beyond with an event featuring readings, snacks, prizes and surprises. As part of their event, they will be debuting a new monthly literary reading series called Accents Reading Series.
In the days and weeks leading up to the event, they will feature a series of interviews with Accents Publishing authors looking back on their Accents books and/or sharing current and future creative plans. All those who have had a book published with, or had an individual poem in one of their anthologies or magazines is invited to read.
The event will consist of readings from Frank X Walker, B. Elizabeth Beck, Audrey Rooney, Lynnell Edwards, Richard Taylor, Jim Lally, Jude Lally, Nettie Farris, Matthew Haughton, Tina Andry, Eric Scott Sutherland, Christopher McCurry, Leatha Kendrick, Jay McCoy, Bianca Bargo, Pamela Hirschler, Tina Parker, Mark Lee Webb, Naomi Clewett, Laurie Clewett and K Nicole Wilson.
