Ben Lacy and Tee Dee Young on the Kentucky Ale Stage (Breeders’ Cup Festival)
Six straight nights of free national and local musicians will perform on the Kentucky Ale Stage downtown in Courthouse Plaza. Bands will play each evening beginning at dark and continue until 10pm.
Jazz and funk guitarist Ben Lacy is a native of Lexington, Kentucky who has performed throughout Europe and North America. The self-taught guitarist has opened for numerous performers including Kenny Wayne Shepard, Victor Wooten, Tom Keifer, Shooter Jennings, Leon Russell, and Bret Michaels.
Tee Dee Young is a blues singer and guitarist from Lexington, Kentucky. Young has played opening acts and performances with legendary Blues and R&B musicians including Johnny Rawls, Albert King, Denise Lasailes, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Alexander O’Neal and more.
