In this 2 hour course you learn how to design and program for the CNC router. Attendees will get an introduction into Carbide Create, a cloud based software for both CAD (computer aided design) and CAM (computer aided machining) work. Learn how to set up your work area, draw shapes and import previously created designs, create pockets and profiles, and export your machine code. You will finish the class with a functional gcode.
PC/Laptop with Chrome required. Some PCs available for use on site, but can't be guaranteed. Email coordinator if you'll be needing access to a computer.
