The release of Eric Bolander’s solo album “Postcards to Myself”. With special guests from right here in Lexington – The Rooster’s Crow, Bryan Minks & the Kentucky Sons, and The Landers.
The Roosters Crow are a traditionally-influenced, yet modernly compelling group based around frontman Derek Spencers’ thoughtful songwriting. From Appalachian murder ballads, to rowdy country-esque throwdowns, the band pushes out a wall of sound with acoustic guitar, fiddle, drums and bass.
The Landers are an accomplished group of Lexington musicians inspired by the original songs and stories of singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist Maggie Lander. Featuring Dan Trisko on guitar, Dwight Dunlap on drums, and Scott Stoess on bass, The Landers sonic palette weaves the shadow and light of Roots Americana, Indie Pop, Soul, and Rock.
