
Carnegie Classics: “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”
The Carnegie Center’s annual Carnegie Classics series invites the public buy the ticket, take the ride and step inside a classic work of literature with this interactive literary event, complete with food, drink, visual and performing art and decor themed after Hunter S. Thompson’s 1972 cult classic novel “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”
This year’s event will transform the Carnegie Center into a 1970s Vegas hotel, with live music from The Other Brothers, an art exhibit featuring multi-media works form local artists inspired by the book, drag queen performances, a Vegas-style buffet, libations and more, all inspired by the novel.
$20 in advance / $25 at the door. Admission includes food and open bar.
