T. A. Clayton and The Soul Miners
His sound stems from a wide range of unique influences. As a Kentucky native, he grew up on old hymns, blues, country and rock. In the end, it produces a style that is both sweet and soulful. Think roots rock with gospel soul.
As a singer songwriter, Clayton first made waves in the Cincinnati music scene, by being nominated for 2 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. Recently locating to Lexington, he has been inspired by the local culture & art scene. While working on his latest EP, he has been humbled by the support of folks who are loving the sound.
