The Elsinores/ Daryl Cook/ Live Island
The Elsinores: Active in Lexington since 2011. Their fuzz-drenched music blends influences of lo-fi, punk, and psych flavors resulting in a washed out, rugged sound reeking of the long standing local soundscape found in Lexington’s bars and basements. The Elsinores latest album, ‘New Forms’, was released in late 2015.
Formly known as Daryl Strawberry, Daryl Cook has been involved in the Lexington music scene for many years with past projects including Trans Sub, Wretched Worst, and S.M.E.L.L., to name a few. Daryl Cook now preforms live electronic sets utilizing keyboards and synths. Bleebling and wooshing sounds are used to create soothing oscilations.
Live Island: DJing before and in between sets throughout the night.
